Sad and Happy Evening

What a way to start blogging.

I asked for input from my insightful husband on what should be our first blog and he replied, "My Wii remote has stopped working." How sad for him.

On a much lighter note, he was very productive today and put our new blinds up in the kitchen windows. Don't they look nice? Thank you hunny!

We have been enjoying life in Southwest Michigan as well as being homeowners. We hope to have 3 working toilets by the end of next week! How exciting! We've picked out paint for the half bath! It will be really nice to have 2 working bathrooms upstairs! It's amazing how fast life changes from being in college and getting excited about things like going out on weekends, and finding out your class was canceled for the day - to being grown, married, home-owning adults who get excited about boring things like bathroom paint, toilets, and blinds in the kitchen.

We are also enjoying life with an energetic, mischievous, and playful kitten, Ginny. She brings lots of laughter into our home. I hope you all get a chance to meet her soon.

As I said she is mischievous. We have taken drastic measures to keep her out from behind the entertainment center. In the process we've discovered that opposed to popular belief, this cat LOVES water! Crazy Cat!

For all of those who were wondering - Yes the wii remote started working again.

And finally, since this blog is called "Kruschel Thoughts," I will leave you with one to ponder.

Why is it that if someone tells you that there are 1 billion stars in the universe you will believe them, but if they tell you a wall has wet paint you will have to touch it to be sure?
