What have you furnished today?

Our new bedroom furniture FINALLY arrived! It only took 25 days to get here.

Take a look!

That tall dresser is almost taller than Jason!

We don't have enough clothes to fill the dressers!
I guess that means I get to go shopping!

Here's another thought to ponder:
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a Train stops On my desk, I have a work station...

Donde es el bano?

This weekend was a productive one.
After the Razor blade discovery the rest of the project went smoothly.

Here's the half-bath BEFORE

And what It looks like AFTER

Its just about finished. Only needs the curtain rod and curtains, the light switch and cover, and the door needs paint.

Thought for the evening:
If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked and dry cleaners depressed?

Anyone got a razor?

This morning we both woke up early. Decided to get a few things done before church.
We hung up our new towel rack, washed some walls, and decided to take out our medicine cabinet.
We'd pick up a new one on our way home from church.

As we took it out this is what we found:

Thin Gillette razor blades fell from the wall...

...were stuck behind the medicine cabinet... (pushed thru that tiny slot there)

... and even more behind the cabinet itself!

There were approx. 489 of them!!!

 Wonder what year they're from?

Oh the treasures you find inside homes, and the weird places people stick things!

And I'll leave you with another thought to ponder: How is a raven like a writing desk?

1/2 Bath Progress

We are in the process of upgrading and updating our half bath. We were quite worried about this one before we started due to the nasty water damage on the baseboards behind the toilet and the mold growing on the bottom of the tank.

When we pulled the toilet out, we discovered no lasting damage to the floors or wall. Only needed cleaning, painting, and new baseboards! (Along with all of the cosmetic updating.)
Here are some pictures of the bathroom.
New Toilet and Baseboards and green paint!

Caught Jason in the bathroom on the toilet.

That will happen when you don't have a door.

And to end this with a thought.
Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?
